Wraith aeons of ruins release delay

Wrath: Aeon of Ruin has always been highly anticipated. People quickly realized that this is a retro Quakestyle shooting game, which we have rarely seen in recent years. Judging from what we've seen in Early Access so far, "Anger: Destroy Eternity" promises fast-paced, bloody action and old-school aesthetics.

However, you seem to have to wait a while to get this game, because the developer "wants the game to be in perfect condition before it is finally released."

’s recently released roadmap may disappoint some people with the delayed release date, but it also has some good news.

From the roadmap, we can see that the full launch is scheduled to land on February 25, 2021. It will include three core worlds, 15 levels, 10 artifacts, 9 weapons, and 15 enemies and bosses. In addition, modules and multiplayer games will be fully supported. This definitely sounds like a fully completed version, which is great news for those who hate buying unfinished games.

Before we see the final version, we can also play some new content that will be added to the game. The second major content update has just arrived, including a new level, a new enemy type and a new weapon to kill him. The new level is an area full of lava, here is the seat of an extinct religious sect.

There will be a "big content surprise" landing sometime in August, but of course, we don't know what will happen inside. What we know is that there will be a third content update on December 22, promising that another new level, enemy type and artifact will now appear. When this game is officially released, there seems to be a lot of things to be solved.

Since the developers of this game have also created legendary games such as Duke of Destruction, Max Payne and German Army Headquarters 3D, we are very happy that they embrace retro aesthetics and really bring us a touch of nostalgia.

This game will have a limited edition "Founders Edition Big Box", which even contains a CDROM copy of the game, as well as a host of artwork, USB sticks, official soundtracks, figurines, posters and some stickers. You can pre-order for $ 100, but only 500 have been produced, so if this is what you want, you need to act quickly.

Are you excited to jump into some old school shooter action? Do you think this will be as itchy as Quake used to be? Let us know in the comment section. We will make sure to update you when we find any other news about Wrath: Aeon of Ruin.
