The largest chair in Secretlab's latest series (2020) is the transformation of its flagship Titan series chair, which not only gets the XL suffix. It is equipped with all the bells and whistles of the standard Titan, but is always 25% larger, suitable for players up to 6 feet 8 inches, and the central mechanism adopts a dual support structure that can comfortably support a weight slightly less than 400 feet pound mark.

Vertagear was a little faster in providing suitable chairs for the biggest gamers, and released its PL6000 model two years after the company was founded. PL6000 measures 533 mm from armrest to armrest, and has a wide waist support of 476 mm.

Vertagear’s official statement is that the PL6000 is sufficient to support a 350 kg chair and can withstand cloud kicking games up to 6 feet 8 inches, but it is a bit distorted. After being evaluated by an independently certified safety laboratory, it was concluded that the PL6000 can support 440 pounds under its own limitations. We have to give Secretlab in this round because the ability of their official chairman is even more impressive.

Before we understand what really makes each company's chair shine, let us first consider some symmetrical aspects of the design. Common features include a solid steel frame, lockable multi-tilt function, 4-stage gas hydraulic system and oversized wheels for smooth driving. Vertagear offers the same 4-dimensional armrests as Secretlab, but you will only find them in their PL series, and they are standard on any 2020 Secretlab chair. The

Titan’s 85°160° tilt function is more flexible than any chair. Vertagear and built-in lumbar support, no cushions, easy to use, and feel great. So Secretlab definitely has an advantage in design. The

Triigger is a premium chair with a subtle office-friendly design. Don't get us wrong, it still looks like some kind of ultra-futuristic exoskeleton. Some of Triigger's outstanding design features include hubless wheels with rubber silencers, near-invincible 12.9-level bolts, adjustable seat depth and integrated multi-directional lumbar support. However, it will cost you $999 to clean.

Both companies are doing their best to provide a selection of special edition color combinations and prints. Secretlab even collaborated with HBO to produce some amazing Game of Thrones themed chairs, but for their standard products, they also provide a choice of three materials, which is a freedom that Vertagear does not have.

Vertagear's PUC goto fabric, a blend of PVC and PU synthetic leather, is really good and very soft, but Secretlab's proprietary PU PRIME 2.0 is more durable, if you want, you can choose its Woven made of soft fabric Made or nappa leather.

As usual, there are some coincidences in this category. For example, both companies use aluminum bases and PU wheels, but despite the similarities, Secretlab won again. Its patented luxury cold curing foam has strategic air pockets that keep you cool and provide additional support, and is more innovative than Vertagear's UPHR foam, although it is excellent.

Having said that, Secretlab provided Vertagear with a textile point because it uses the incredible HygennX technology, which uses coffee-infused fibers to prevent unpleasant odors from accumulating. We also specifically mentioned Vertagear's Triigger series, which features ultra-breathable DuPont TPEE mesh and fine-grain calfskin.

Vertagear does a good job of making some super cloudy chairs to help you complete those gaming tasks in the long run. Its very elegant PVC / PU composite materials are elastic and soft, if you sit on them for a long time, it is obvious that their ergonomics is very important. Plus, its UPHR (Super High Resilience Foam) material provides 62% more support per cubic foot than traditional HR foam, making your chair an excellent choice for serious gamers.

However, for us, Secretlab ultimately claimed to fall into this category. The choice of fabric and its integrated waist support are truly unique and one of the most innovative developments in the short history of sports gaming chairs. Secretlab has also taken the cushion to a new level with its incredible cold curing foam, and with the help of a memory foam cushion lined with cooling gel, they have made the most comfortable gaming chair on the market.

If anyone really understands comfort, it is a real-time strategy game player. This may be an important reason why two professional StarCraft players were able to conceive and turn Secretlab into what it is today in such a short period of time. .Thanks to their dedication, first-hand gaming experience, excellent textiles and refreshing design methods, they became our chair champions.

If we did not mention Vertagear's achievements in its Triigger series of chairs, we would be negligent. They're equally high-end, and we're excited to see where their future designs are headed, but this isn't enough to steal victory.
