Maquette is a unique puzzle experience coming soon that allows you to explore the fascinating world of recursion. Maquette is a first-person puzzle game that places you in a strange world, unlike any world you've ever seen before.
players will be in a vibrant magical world, in this world, each element, building or plant that you find has its own big and small version. The world itself seems to exist in itself.
If you see an exquisite building towering above you, you will also find a miniature version of it somewhere around you. When you walk towards the center of the world, you will find yourself standing in the building like a giant, but if you go further, everything else will get bigger and bigger.
You can solve puzzles through various levels by manipulating miniature versions of items in the world. This is best explained by actually watching it in the game trailer.
In this game trailer, you saw an example of a huge cube blocking your path. It's too heavy and too big for you to pick up, but all you need to do is step into this little world. In this area, you will see the same big world in a miniature version, which contains a miniature version of a cube.
Smaller cubes are easier to get out, while larger cubes can be lifted so that you can enter the rest of the area. Another example is the use of an object as a bridge to the next area.
If this is not confusing enough, then there is a complete love story. Maquette tells the story of two characters, Kenzie and Michael, who met in the world and had an awkward flirtation. On its journey, each chapter brings new stories and lessons about love, loss, and acceptance.
Based on Steam's current listing, this game is scheduled to be released in 2020 and there is currently no set release date.
was created by Annapurna Interactive and Graceful Decay, and Maquette made its debut in 2011 during an experimental games seminar at the Game Developers Conference. Since then, it was announced on PC in February.
