Although Total War: Rome Remake is a graphical update, the main game is still relatively old, so most gaming PCs should be able to run the game smoothly. However, for absolute certainty, please review the following recommendations and minimum system requirements, provided by the publisher. However, as always, for safety reasons, we recommend adding a little more horsepower to these specifications.

If you are not sure about the specifications of your computer, please check our guide on how to find the specifications of your PC to see if your computer can run games or if it needs to be updated. At the bottom of this page, we will also discuss the PC version options for the game in case you need a new platform to run it.

Total War: Rome Remastered is a 4K graphics update for one of the most innovative and popular series in Total War: Rome: Total War. In addition to the graphics, the gameplay has also been improved, but purists will be happy to know that they can also reproduce the original as it is, only with graphical improvements.

To play Total War: Rome Remastered at 1080p resolution at the lowest settings, you need to have the function of one of our $500 self-built PCs. However, if you want to take full advantage of the improved game and play it in higher resolutions (including 4k), a build of $1,000 or higher is recommended.

If the idea of building your own computer does not appeal to you, then a pre-build for less than $800 should run Total War: Rome Remastered at a low setting of 1080p to get a good FPS strategy game. However, for higher resolution and graphics settings, you'll need a machine at least as powerful as this $ 1,000 pre-built PC to achieve the same frames per second.
