Another week, another roundup of top game stories. Check out our favorite news from the past 7 days.

This week we received not one, but two announcements about video games receiving wizard treatment and getting their own TV series. Although, one is definitely more surprising than the other. First of all, thanks to the creators of Amazon Studios and Westworld, Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan, we will have a radiation TV series on our screens in the future.

This week also announced the TV show My Friend Pedro directed by John Wick writer Derek Korsta. Although we still don't know what this will actually look like, it does attract our attention.

News of the event delay this week appeared in the form of Amazon Prime Membership Day. This will be the third time (so far) that the online sales event has been postponed to the October 5th placeholder date. However, don't be too obsessed with this new date, because Amazon seems to be preparing for potential additional delays. Of course, this is entirely due to the production and inventory problems faced by online retailers due to the current COVID19 crisis. The

. Probably the best game trailer we have seen in a while, Devolver Digital launched its next game, Shadow Warrior 3, this week. The next entry in the 2010 reboot series seems to be a great game, and we can’t wait to see more of them in the next few months.

As a huge fan of the resident Sims, when I saw the trailer for the new Sims 4 reality show Spark`d appear on my Twitter account, I might be a little excited, but I'm not the only one. In this new show, a group of contestants compete in the world of "The Sims 4" to show their creativity, all hoping to win the final cash prize.
