The creator of Suikoden is developing the "spiritual successor" of this classic role-playing game.
A new team called Rabbit & Bear Studios announced a Kickstarter campaign to fund the next game: Eiyuden Chronicle. This is an old-school style RPG designed to evoke nostalgia for fans of the old RPG.
The story is written by Yoshitaka Murayama, who wrote the story of Harasu Photoelectric and Water Photoelectric II. He also collaborated with Junko Kawano and Juichi Murakami, who provided character designs for Suikoden, who worked on the art design of Castlevania: Aria of Sadness.
Eiyuden Chronicle is a new JRPG that uses a traditional turn-based RPG combat system. Players can control one of six separate units, which will engage creatures and armies head on. The story of
takes place in a corner of Allraan, which is a collection of countries with multiple cultures. This world is "formed by the alliance and aggression of the humans, orcs, elves, and desert people who live there."
The plot revolves around magical objects called "runelenses". The Galdean Empire has discovered a technology that can enhance this magic and is looking for a way to further enhance this power.
This is where the main characters come in. Seign Kesling is an imperial official and Nowa is a village boy. They met, formed an incredible friendship, and embarked on an expedition to help the empire expand its power. However, they were drawn into a war, forcing them to "reexamine everything they believe to be correct and true."
In this game, you will meet all kinds of enemies, from dragons to golems, all with their own abilities and skills. In addition to all the battles, you also have the opportunity to explore the world of Yongyoudian, meet many different characters, and perhaps most importantly, meet many cats.
"Yongyou Biography" is not just a classic JRPG. It’s also full of cute cats," the Kickstarter page says. The cat is barking, the cat is sleeping, and the cat is exploring the world. Cats, cats, cats. Meow!"
On the Kickstarter event page, you can see the complete character profile. List and information about the game.

was for the game to launch on the PC after reaching the minimum goal. After this, the developer also hopes to release the game on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X in the future. Taking into account the operation of the Kickstarter background, we must have the opportunity to see this on the next generation of game consoles.
