Square enix reveals gorgeous final fantasy vii remake at the tokyo game show

There's no question that at its E3 2019 briefing, Square Enix generously provided new details on the Final Fantasy VII remake, new trailers, and a number of inspiring game screens. We have announced since Sunday's "Final Fantasy VII: Reunion Symphony Concert" that the long-awaited remake will be released on March 3, 2020.

As expected, the Final Fantasy VII remake will be released in plot form, starting from first episode, focusing on Midgar. There's no word on how the remaining chapters will unfold or when to expect them. However, Square Enix explained that it is expected to provide two-game content on Blu-ray Disc.

Combat is divided into a hybrid system that combines command-based real-time and strategic attacks. Cloud's standard hacking and slash attacks set ATB, which can then be used to enter a slowdown tactical mode, where players can choose from the usual costs of Final Fantasy abilities, spells, and items. Today the system looks more like a later FF game than the original.

Final Fantasy VII remake is only available for PlayStation 4.
