Nvidia decided to take advantage of this new version by releasing its own new version. If you currently have a GeForce graphics card, you can use the Nvidia 444 12 WHQL driver package to prepare for the new version of Red Dead. Nvidia stated at the time of its release: "The Game Ready driver provides the best gaming experience for all major new releases, including VR games. Before the new game is released, our controller team works until last minute to ensure it contains all the performance tweaks and bug fixes to get the best gaming experience on day one. ”

Nvidia also commented more on a blog post explaining how to achieve 60FPS. They said at a resolution of 3840x2160 and the details are set to medium to high levels, you will need to use GeForce RTX 2080 Ti.

In the case of 2560x1440 and the detail level is set to high, Nvidia recommends using 2070 Super. Similarly, 1920 × 1080, high level of detail, 2060 Super is sufficient

Of course, everyone has their own standards for playing games of this level. However, if you want to run it at a speed that takes full advantage of it, you will find that it will not be cheap. If you need to invest in a better system, you can check out our recommended GPU series.

In addition to using this driver in Red Dead Redemption 2, the 444 12 WHQL driver also enables GSync compatible support for certain LG 2019 OLED TVs (especially the B9, C9 and E9 series). However, to use it with LG TVs, you need to install some firmware updates from LG.

Another important thing to note is that because you will be using HDMI 2.1, you also need a Turing card, such as the GTX 1600 series or RTX 2000 series.
