From there, the production verification test will be done in late July or August, followed by the final BIOS and sorting in early August. Mass production will reportedly begin in August, with full media activities (specs, architecture, etc.), benchmarks and performance evaluations, and will begin in September.

This means that NVIDIA may hold some kind of public event before September, rumored to be at Gamescom 2020, to compete for the excitement of the GPU.

Igor's lab also reported that the rumored $ 150 Founders Edition cooler discovered through multiple leaks last week was not actually the final design. NVIDIA is considering two different versions. These reportedly came from two OEM partners that the chip giant had previously worked with. According to reports, it will be decided in the design verification test phase next month which model to use.

Finally, Igor's lab report provides more detailed information about the estimated power consumption of the GPU. The total power of the circuit board is 350W, GPU power is 230W, 24GB GDDR6X memory is 60W (GA_0180_P075_120X140, 2.5 watts per module), MOSFET, inductor, capacitor NVDD is 26W, MOSFET, VDD2QFB capacitor is 6W W for MOSFET, inductor , PEXVDD capacitor, 4 W is used for other voltage and input part, 7 W is used for fan, 15 W is used for PCB loss.
