Nvidia 3000 series three variants

After leaking images of NVIDIA’s upcoming RTX 3080 design this weekend, new details about the GPU giant’s RTX Ampere consumer plan surfaced.

According to Igor`sLAB media reports, NVIDIA plans to launch three different variants of the RTX 3000 series based on the PG132 motherboard. The distinguishing factor is said to be the number and power of memories.

This shared design will be consistent with the oppressive double-sided cooler and uneven PCB seen in the leak, because NVIDIA will want to design a solution that works with as many cards as possible to reduce Cost of production.

Igor`sLAB also reported that the manufacturing cost of the cooler is only $150, which means that the price of these top-of-the-line genuine GPUs will be very high. The first of the three variants of

is RTX 3090, called SKU10, which may be the next generation equivalent of TITAN. It has 24 GB GDDR6 memory, 384-bit interface, 350 W TBP, three DisplayPorts, one HDMI and NVLINK.

Moving on, we have RTX 3080 Ti / Super, called SKU20, with 11GB of GDDR6, 352-bit interface, 320W TBP, three DisplayPorts and one HDMI.

Finally, the latest information points to the RTX 3080 variant, called SKU30, with 10GB GDDR6, 320-bit interface, 320W TBP, three DisplayPorts, and one HDMI.

The last two models with 11GB and 10GB GDDR6 memory caused some problems. NVIDIA is unlikely to launch high-end models with a memory gap of less than 1GB. The RTX 3080 Ti looks strange here, the entry-level RTX 3080 has very few improvements to guarantee a place in the hierarchy of the higher-end RTX 3000 series. We will have to wait for an official announcement from NVIDIA to precisely clarify the plan here. The new report

also indicates that NVIDIA is unlikely to accept the recent leaks and has launched an investigation into two manufacturers: Foxconn and Build Your Dreams. Also, Igor`sLAB said that last weekend's leaks are as recent as they know; even NVIDIA's own product and sales managers are said to have yet to see the final design.

As always, please keep the original filter and this latest report. With so much activity surrounding the next generation of consumer RTX cards, it is only a matter of time before we hear official news from NVIDIA.
