Nioh 2 release
During the Tokyo Game Show, developer Team Ninja revealed that the feudal Japanese action RPG Soulslike "Nio 2" will be released sometime in early 2020. Furthermore, the studio responsible for the classic Ninja Gaiden series has also released a public beta. Public Beta
will run via the PlayStation Store from November 1-10 and will allow players to experience completely new levels and take on never-before-seen demons to carefully test their fighting skills.
After the alpha test at the end of May, 50,000 players joined in to provide helpful feedback to improve the game. The November event should reveal the changes and improvements that have been made to Team Ninja during this period.
Nioh 2 will follow in the footsteps of the original Nioh. After a development cycle that lasted more than ten years, he reaffirmed that Team Ninja is a true studio.
In Nioh 2, the player returns to the dangerous land of Japan during the Warring States Period, but this time takes the form of a half-monster, half-human protagonist instead of the original Irish sailor William.
Most of Ninja Gaidenin's intense battles return with the Dark Soul difficulty setting, and the most terrifying demon Yokai works with a host of warlords and bandits to further the narrative.
Team Ninja released multiple previews at the Tokyo Game Show, showcasing all the glory of Nioh 2. The gloomy and misty surroundings, Japanese folklore-inspired enemies, and sophisticated mechanical devices are on display. The whole
looks very tempting and should fill the void left by this year's extraordinary Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. It also solves the themes of feudal Japan and countless supernatural elements in the same way as Nioh 2.
