New information about MSI TRX40 PRO series motherboards has been leaked. Hardware information leaker Komachi recently posted some interesting leaked images on Twitter, these images appear to show MSI's upcoming 3rd Gen Ryzen Threadripper HEDT series. The
MSI PRO Series was designed with productivity, scalability, and stability in mind. To this end, this new motherboard has four full PCIe x16 slots.
It seems that the motherboard has two variants. One will be equipped with a WiFi6 module, and the other will be equipped with a 10G card. Although they are aimed at different users, both motherboards use a 12 + 3 phase digital VRM design and are powered by dual 8-pin connectors. These motherboards will also support up to 256GB of DDR4 memory with speeds up to 4666MHz.
However, the main highlight that appears on all TRX40 motherboards is actually the fan at the top of the chipset. For a simple fan, this is a very eye-catching feature due to its size, as shown in the leaked picture below.
VideoCardz.com has leaked these specifications, although it has not yet been confirmed by MSI.
Other upcoming motherboards include ASUS ROG Zenith II Extreme, which seems to be the most powerful motherboard. It has most of the features of all the boards released today and a large sTRX4 plug powered by a 70-amp rated TDA21472 16-phase power stage. The
TRX40 AORUS XTREME motherboard is aimed at the most advanced users. This motherboard uses a 16-phase power design, powered by a dual 8-pin CPU connector, and is also equipped with various high-end components on the PCB, which can provide you with the overclocking potential of the Threadripper processor.
These are unlikely to be the end announced today, but the number of choices consumers have when purchasing components is impressive.
