MSI launched Optix MAG251RX, a new Fast IPS gaming LCD with panel, firmly targeting the e-sports market. In fact, MSI is promoting the display as a "new e-sports target" designed for professional e-sports competitions. The main features of

include a 24.5-inch 8-bit + FRC IPS panel, 240Hz refresh rate, 1ms GtG response time, 16:9 aspect ratio and 1920 x 1080 resolution.

MSI Optix MAG251RX also has 400 nit degrees, 178 vertical and horizontal viewing angles, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 90 PPI pixel density, NVIDIA Gsync and VESA AdaptiveSync support, and VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification.

As MSI’s first Fast IPS panel, Optix MAG251RX has achieved good results in color gamut with 107% sRGB, 84 IP3 and 1.07 billion colors, which is higher than other displays of its kind. It also has an ultra-narrow bezel, which is ideal for multi-monitor setups.

In terms of connectivity, we are looking for a DisplayPort 1.2, two HDMI 2.0 and a USB TypeC port that is less common in gaming monitors, and a USB port hub with three USB 2.0 TypeA and one USB 2.0 TypeB. There is also an audio headphone output. The
