Last of us 2 state of play

Are you one of those people who quickly run out of space to install games? If so, then it is good news for you. As the installation size of the game seems to be getting bigger and bigger, we were originally worried that "The Last of Us 2" would require more than 100GB of hard drive space.

recently released games, such as "Final Fantasy 7 Remake" and "Red Dead Redemption 2", even without considering future patches, have recorded more than 100GB. So you will be happy to know that a recent leak made The Last of Us Part II installs to around 80GB.

Yes, this is only 20 GB less than some people worry about, but for those already running at maximum capacity, it can help a lot. This leak comes from a Reddit user who posted pictures about the progress of his game installation.

Given that some people have already obtained their first copy of the game, we can expect the scale of installations to increase steadily in the coming weeks. Patches and frequent updates on the first day will affect the installation size of this title before we know it.

This is the largest installation size of all naughty dog games so far, among which Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End once topped the list with 48GB. This just shows that the details and graphic fidelity in the game are constantly increasing. The Last of Us Part II will be Naughty Dog's most detailed work so far, and we can’t wait to play it.

Are you excited about the launch of "The Last of Us 2"? Please let us know your thoughts on the growing scale of the game in the comments section below. We like to hear all your thoughts.
