Sony announced that as part of its monthly PlayStation Plus giveaway line in June, subscribers will be able to experience "Call of Duty: World War II."

Call of Duty games rarely appear in free PlayStation Plus games, making this a very suitable occasion for fans of first-person shooter games.

With Sledgehammer Games assuming development responsibilities, "Call of Duty: World War II" takes players into the greatest conflicts and iconic moments of the last century, like the landing of DDay. It didn't completely reinvent "Call of Duty" roulette, but the content in "Call of Duty: World War II

" is enough to keep any FPS fan busy, in part due to the franchise's iconic zombie mode.

We bet Activision is very happy to release older CoD games to guide players to the newer games, especially "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare" and the hit standalone Battle Royale spinoff "Warzone".

In a rather unorthodox way, Activision’s shooting game will be available for download before it officially starts in June. Subscribers can start collecting from today (May 26). There are more games to complete in June's PlayStation Plus, but Sony is still tight-lipped. The gaming giant promised to announce everything later this week.

rumors and a strange listing on the British PlayStation Store indicate that Marvel's Spider-Man may be the accompaniment to Call of Duty: World War II. When you try to buy the Standard Edition, the list above shows that the game is free for PlayStation Plus subscribers. PS Store glitch or early leak on Sony's June plan? who knows.

Since Marvel's Spider-Man is a crown jewel exclusive to Sony's PlayStation, and has remained extremely popular almost two years after its release, we will add salt before receiving official confirmation from Sony. If it's genuine, it will become one of the biggest games ever to land on PlayStation Plus.

At the same time, the "City: Skyline and Farming Simulator 19" distributed last month is still available until Monday, June 1. These do not have the praise or public appeal of great artists like Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Shadow of the Colossus that we saw earlier this year, but they are certainly worth exploring.

After all, they are free, and many of us are still isolated from the world. Anything that helps pass the time without spending money is welcome.
