Are you ready for a new and whimsical adventure game? The Bugsnax game trailer was recently unveiled in the PlayStation State of Play demo, and it is still as bizarre as the latest trailer.
When the first trailer was released in June, we were immediately attracted by a small game that looked interesting and creative. Therefore, if you want to try something different this year, Bugsnax may be the best choice. The premise of
Bugsnax is that you are on an island where all insects are basically hybrids of edible insects. So, you will see crabs made from apple slices, centipedes, strawberry bugs, and spiders made from potato chips. Villagers on the island are happy to eat Cordyceps, but this seems to have turned part of their bodies into food. Part of the reporter's job is to investigate precisely what and why Bugsnax did to your body when you ate them.
Sound weird? True, but our expectations for the studio behind Octodad aren't low - this is a game centered on an octopus disguised as a human, and it must keep its true identity a secret from suburban families.
Since we saw the very strange trailer, in addition to the weird and catchy songs, we have been following the updates. Now we have a chance to take a look at the gameplay. Game trailer
quickly introduced us to the story. You will play the role of an investigative reporter, investigating the Bugsnax phenomenon. You need to explore the town of Snaxburg and integrate with the community there to learn more about the place and its residents.
Villagers will show you how to catch bed bugs, which will help your investigation. In the trailer, you will see some ways to catch Bugsnax, including using slings and other strange gadgets suggested by the villagers. The core of
Bugsnax is a game focused on hunting, community management and journalists. There seems to be a lot of things to do to keep you busy, and there must be enough diversity to prevent the story from being too repetitive. The
Bugsnax will be released in the 2020 holiday season and is suitable for PC, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, just in time for the launch of new game consoles. We don’t know the exact date at this time, but we think it will be sometime in November or December.
Currently we don't know if it will land on Steam, but it will be on the Epic Games Store.
We will look for more updates and release dates when we announce, so be sure to check WePC for the latest news.
