Dedicated vs integrated graphics

At the time of writing this guide, the 2080 Ti is undoubtedly the mother of all GPUs. It has unparalleled gaming performance and more powerful features than any other GPU in the consumer group. However, there still seems to be an unresolved issue in local forums and communities. What is the best 2080 Ti?

This is a question we are often asked here, and it is relatively difficult to answer. Why? Well, there are a large number of aftermarket 2080 Ti to choose from, which automatically makes choosing the right product more difficult, not to mention the huge price tags that come with these graphics cards. I mean, who wants to spend more than $1,000 to buy parts that are not 100% synchronized with the current/new version? Of course I don't!

For this reason, we created this comprehensive guide for choosing the best RTX 2080 Ti.

We have compiled a list of what we think is the best at the moment. We also provide you with aspects to consider when buying a 2080 Ti so that you can conduct your own independent investigation. Chapter

Choose the correct component for our best guide, whether the price is below 300 the best screen for the dollar or the best gaming headsets is never easy.

It takes hours of product research, performance benchmarking, and user feedback to get closer to the final conclusion. If you are not a tech savvy and have difficulty setting aside time to complete the above requirements, you may end up purchasing a GPU that is not suitable for you or your build. Chapter

Don't Be Afraid, Friend! At WePC, we want to take all the pressure off your research and turn it into a comprehensive buyer's guide that's easy to follow. That's right, our team of PC enthusiasts have done all the hard work, so you don't have to do this.

Testing our recommended products is an important part of the overall selection process in our best guide. This is one way to ensure that what we recommend is the best option in its particular category. To ensure that the product is "the best", it must show excellent performance in our tests and show better quality in the competition it faces.

Most of the products we recommend at WePC have undergone a rigorous testing process, covering everything from price and appearance to performance and efficiency. Every product has been pushed to the limit and watch it perform under intense pressure to make sure it comes first.

Doing so enables us to provide you with the most accurate assessment of product performance and ultimately determine if it is worth your hard-earned money.

With that said, let's take a look at a few things we think are worth considering when buying the 2080Ti. Chapter

To be honest, 2080Ti is not a cheap GPU. Although it is one of the best graphics cards in the consumer market, it is also one of the most expensive.

Having said that, we recognize that you may wish to conduct independent research before putting our recommendations to the box. This is natural.

Knowing how the product works and what to look for is something we take very seriously. We try to educate people in these areas as much as possible so that they can make their own wise decisions.

So before buying the best 2080Ti, let's take a look at the areas we think you should consider.

Whether you are buying the latest gaming monitor or high-end GPU, price is always one of the most important aspects of any hardware component, especially for products that cost about $1,500. The price of

high-end and low-end 2080Ti differs by several hundred, which means that if you do not choose the right one, your budget may be greatly stretched. Therefore, we always recommend that you make a price comparison before starting your research.

We're trying to show which GPUs are a good value and which ones won't make the price less considerate.

We will discuss the performance of the 2080Ti later, but in short, it may be the second most important factor when choosing your hardware.

We all want the best performing hardware we can afford; however, understanding the link between price and performance is a key area to consider beforehand.

For example, 2080Ti is a very expensive card. That said, it is also the most powerful consumer card on the market and there is still a long way to go. However, does it show value for money? Absolutely.

performance also depends on resolution, in-game FPS, multitasking, and other graphics-intensive tasks, such as mining.

Before buying, make sure that your build meets the performance output of the card to ensure that other components won't get you stuck. There is nothing worse than an incompletely synchronized build.

Like performance, cooling is described in more detail after our product review. However, heat dissipation is an important aspect to consider when buying a GPU.

All GPUs come with their own cooling solution, which in theory should be able to dissipate TDP rated cards. However, there are some ways to increase GPU cooling, such as water cooling and better chassis fan CFM.

Observe the heat generated by your card to ensure that you are not building the most expensive radiator in the world.

When we refer to size, we are referring to the physical size of the GPU.

Now, at this stage, you may be thinking, why should I worry about size? A generation

purchase. I mean, if you don’t know the specifications, how do you know the performance of the product?

Therefore, the next section will introduce each major GPU specification and its meaning. Hope this will give you a better understanding of the working principles and functions of the GPU.

Friends, don't be afraid, the clock speed is not that terrible. In fact, when you understand them, they are easy to understand. The

clock speed or clock frequency is the speed at which your microprocessor (in this case, the GPU chip itself) runs. It basically refers to the speed at which your GPU executes instructions. Each GPU has a different speed, which means that each GPU can perform tasks at different speeds. However, the clock speed is not directly related to game performance. Unfortunately, this boils down to several factors.

VRAM is the video RAM (random access memory) of the GPU. It directly affects the performance of the graphics card and the amount of data it can read at any given time. The

VRAM works exactly like your computer’s RAM; it stores data that your GPU can access at any time in any order. The more VRAM you have, the more times you can access data without going through the CPU.

Higher resolution game formats require more video memory, as does anti-aliasing and other tasks. Fortunately, each 2080Ti is equipped with 11GB of GDDR6 VRAM, which is the highest consumption card on the market today.

Performance is ultimately the most important aspect of any product, especially when we mention the GPU. This is thanks to modern game publishers and how they develop the latest games.

Historically, most of the game's functionality has come from the CPU. However, this is no longer the case. The GPU now supports most of the gaming requirements and is essential for a smooth operating experience.

With that said, the 2080Ti isn't disappointing in terms of raw performance. It is currently the best consumer graphics card on the market and outperforms all products.

new NAVI architecture GPU If you want to start taking the 2080Ti to the highest performance position, you have to do something very special. However, if there is something worth paying attention to in the new Ryzen series, you won't be surprised to see this happen. I think only time will prove everything.

RTX 2080Ti can easily manage frame rates up to 60+ FPS, while running at super settings, it is very suitable for 4K games and easily surpass competitors. In addition, the 1440p game on this card allows you to easily get 120+ FPS in the most demanding games. Even if ray tracing is enabled, it will not slow down. It is really the mother of all cards now.

As you can see from the list above, the heat dissipation will be different when comparing GPUs. Off our list, the cards come with a variety of different cooling solutions, ranging from 3 fans to 1 fan, and even water cooling.

For most people, this may not be an important factor in their decision-making process, but it should be. If your card gets too hot, it will start to experience thermal throttling, which will degrade performance exponentially.

If you are unfamiliar with thermal throttling, it can occur when your GPU is under intensive workloads (such as gaming) and generates heat waves, affecting card performance. To prevent this from happening, your card must be equipped with a powerful cooling setting.

For me, the best choice for cooling is the water-cooled configuration. The

water-cooled GPU will lose the fan and replace it with a more effective water-cooled block, which makes the cold water almost directly in contact with the graphics card. However, this is an expensive premium, so not all consumers can use it. However, if it is, I would definitely recommend it. The more realistic option for

is the three-fan aftermarket cooling option, just like all the cards in our list above. Under gaming pressure/work load, these can keep your card fresh.

For me, this is a simple question. The answer is yes, absolutely.

The only problem with these graphics cards, and this problem, is how expensive they are. The cheapest we can find right now is about $1,000. I know, expensive. However, if you are looking for the absolute best gaming experience, there is no substitute. Currently, AMD does not provide anything close to the performance of 2080Ti.

Maybe when they do, we will see a sudden drop in market prices. However, it is not clear whether AMD can produce products of this quality.

Next is the increasingly popular Gigabyte AORUS GeForce RTX 2080 TI Extreme. If you have been a fan of Gigabyte GPUs for many years, you will love this GPU. It provides a higher clock speed of 1770MHz, which is one of the highest clock speeds in our guide.

Gigabyte decided to adopt its WINDFORCE three-fan setting, like most of the list, to provide it with the maximum cooling potential under maximum pressure. An interesting feature of the Gigabyte fan set is its "reciprocating" center fan. This means that the 3 center fans rotate in the opposite direction to the other two. It is said that this can increase the smoothness of the airflow and achieve better overall cooling. Our test recognizes this because the recorded temperature is lower compared to other records.

AORUS Extreme comes with 16 + 3 power phases for "Extreme Overclocking". This is one of the main reasons why AORUS has the highest off-the-shelf clock speed.

For me, this is the most attractive card on this list. Everything looks great. Gigabytes RGB fusion 2.0 enhances the angular design and provides one of the best aesthetics of any card we've seen. Obviously, if you don't like RGB, you won't like this, but we think it looks great.

Gigabyte decided to equip this card with an impressive 7 outputs, two more than the standard one. These include 3 HDMI ports, 3 DisplayPorts, and a USB Type-C port.

This is Gigabytes' flagship GPU, while providing extreme performance and fantastic beauty.

ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 2080 TI AMP is very close in our best guide and 20 Ti 20. It appears on the table with one of the cheapest price tags, making it one of the most valuable options. The

out-of-the-box clock speed hits 1665MHz, making it one of the slowest cards in our guide, but don't let that fool you. Its performance is still as good as any other on this list.

cooling is provided by Zotac's ICESTORM 2.0 three-fan configuration, which provides excellent cooling in gaming and heavy-duty scenarios. In other words, it is louder and less efficient than the Gigabyte and Asus ROG Strix above.

In terms of design, compared with some of the other cards in this guide, Sotec is definitely a bit inadequate. Provide RGB lighting for your build, even if it's only in one part. However, it is by no means a fully developed RGB GPU. Like most of this list, if you look at it this way, it occupies an impressive 2.5 chassis slots and is 308 mm long. The

outputs include 3 HDMI ports, 1 DisplayPort port and 1 USB TypeC, which can meet all your virtual reality needs.

If you are looking for the original features of the 2080Ti, but don't have the cash to buy one of the more expensive cards on this list, then look no further, ZOTAC Gaming RTX 2080 TI AMP may be exactly what you are looking for.

EVGA The impressive GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Ftw3 Ultra is our next choice, which may surprise some readers. Historically, EVGA has always been one of the best aftermarket Nvidia GPU manufacturers. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still the case. However, it is slightly lower than the first two, and the price is much higher than that of Zotac. Therefore, for these reasons, it ranks fourth on our list. A more positive point is that

, which we call Ftw3 Ultra, has the highest combined output clock speed of 1755MHz. In addition, you can also get the best co-cooling options in this guide.

Some of the features that come with this card include iCX2 cooling technology, cool three-fan settings, charming RGB with EVGA Precision X1 software, all-metal backplane and 19 power phases.

The design of this card is very attractive, even if it is a monster. It occupies three slots, is 302 mm long, and is considered space-saving when it comes to 2080Ti. It is equipped with all five standard output ports, including 3 DisplayPort ports, 1 HDMI port and a USB TypeC port.

Finally, if you are an EVGA fan, this may be your card. However, if

It can be found in various areas of the GPU and can be fully customized in MSI's intuitive user software.

One of the main disadvantages of this card is its design. It is huge. The card occupies three output slots and measures 328 mm, which is the largest card in our list. We recommend that you check your case and compile it before buying to make sure it can accommodate a GPU of this size.

Although its size is annoying from a construction point of view, it does have a silver lining: the heatsink. The heatsink is much larger than other GPU heatsinks. This should allow users to extract the maximum overclocking potential from this 2080Ti while still keeping the temperature at a safe level.

In short, MSI's Gaming GeForce RTX 2080 Ti is one of the more affordable display options. It provides excellent gaming performance, which is ideal if you are looking for the highest benefit.

RTX 2080 Ti is not only suitable for gaming, it is also very magical. Although we are currently fascinated by the RTX 30 series, the 2080 Ti is still one of the best gaming GPUs of all time.

While some people think 1080p is over the top, we say, hang the RTX bad boy on a build with a 240Hz 1080p screen and high-performance CPU, and get it right for some epic, silky-smooth games. Prepare yourself.

Of course, 2080 is more than just a monster frame promoter. It's loaded with 544 AI-primed DLSS tensor cores and 68 dedicated ray-tracing cores. For games that support this hardware, the gameplay is not only smooth, but also realistic. The

RTX 2080 Ti is definitely a 4K monster. It breaks the 60fps average required for most games. If you turn the Ultra setting down to High, even in the most demanding games (like Assassin's Creed: Valhalla and RDR2), you'll see 60+ Average.

For games that are easier in terms of graphics, look for an average of 80 fps. For this reason, it is best paired with a 4K 60Hz display.

Why is 2080 Ti so good for high-resolution games? Well, this is a combination, but a large part of it is the impressive 11GB GDDR6 memory system. When you venture beyond 1080p, your workload will shift from RAM to the GPU’s onboard memory, so it needs to support pixel-intensive 4K workloads in large quantities and efficiently. The

2080 Ti is very efficient in this regard, you can even pair it with a 60Hz 8K monitor and get pretty good results. I had to lower the settings according to the game, but this is still an impressive feat. The

RTX 2080 Ti is highly forward-looking; no doubt! Not only can it produce absurd frame rates at any resolution, but it is also full of futuristic features. Take the high-level kernel of DLSS Tensor as an example. These things are actually driven by artificial intelligence. If this is not venturing into the realm of science fiction, we don't know what it is. The

also contains a large number of RT cores, making it one of the best examples of ray tracing, the latest buzzword in computer graphics technology. Not just any ray tracing, hardware ray tracing. That's the real thing, guys. One of these generators will bring hell to leather in its case, you don't have to worry about upgrades in the next few years, so don't worry. If you are worried, please consider GTX 1080 Ti. That powerful GPU is four years old and is still considered one of the best in the industry. Since the 2080 Ti is its successor and was not released until the end of 2018, it is still full of vitality. The teraflop rating of the

RTX 2080 Ti is slightly lower than 13.5, which means it can perform nearly 13.5 trillion calculations per second... incredible! To provide you with context, Xbox One can only reach 1.5 teraflops.

Even the recently released PS5 only has a total computing efficiency of 12 teraflops, while the RTX 2080 Ti is just a graphics processing unit, and these game consoles are completely professional gaming computers.

If you think for yourself... "Well, all this sounds very impressive, but what are teraflops?" They are essentially a measure of maximum computational efficiency.

This is the complete classification of the best RTX 2080TI graphics cards we currently have available.

Purchasing any advanced hardware component can be a stressful task, especially when the wrong component can cause the paperweight price to exceed $1,000. For this reason, we have tried to provide you with as much information about the 2080Ti as possible, and hope that you can then walk away and make the most informed decision about what suits your specific needs.

For me, I would choose ASUS ROG Strix RTX 2080 TI because it showcases some of the best coolers and the most distorted aesthetics. But what is your best RTX 2080 Ti GPU? Why don't you leave us a message in the section below? We would love to hear from you!
