In the last six months, we have received many BenQ monitors that need to be reviewed and processed. One of them is BenQ EL2870U. EL2870U is essentially just the 28-inch version of the BenQ EW3270U that we reviewed. We're interested in competitive gaming on WePC, but that doesn't mean we don't like the occasional 4K gaming monitors.

I have been using the BenQ EL2870U monitor as a primary and secondary monitor for about four weeks. If you have extra money and are looking for a new 4K gaming monitor, then you may prefer IPS panels to TN panels like this one. That said, don't let this put you off the EL2870U, because it provides the image quality and color accuracy that make any game look great.

EL2870U may not have tuning options like Asus ROG Swift PG278QR, but it does offer Freesync, high dynamic range, and 1ms response time.

Although this monitor may not be considered one of the best monitors for gaming, it still offers a substantial return for your money. Let's take a closer look and see how the BenQ EL2870U compares!

thick bezel 2 months ago, BenQ4 Sent to the folks at BenQ America with thick bezels. A colleague in the office used it as a monitor for his daily graphic design, so it took me a few weeks to master it. I have been using it for my general work for about four weeks, but recently switched it to my main gaming monitor to see its composition.

The version I use includes i58600 and EVGA 1080 Ti GPU. Although this version may not be the best, it is good enough for my game and enough to test this gaming monitor.

We conveniently list the product specifications here because it is usually a good place to start using any new monitor. Here you can check and see which functions are in line with your preferences, it can allow you to quickly understand if this monitor is right for you.

The following are the EL2780U specifications:

This BenQ monitor measures 28 inches and measures 26 inches (66.04 cm) x 19 inches (48.26 cm) x 3 inches (7.62 cm), not including the stand. It weighs just 14 pounds and is a fairly lightweight gaming monitor, which is surprising for its quality. Regardless of its weight, the BenQ frame is very good, it is still firmly fixed to the table without any obvious shaking.

Compared to many other mounts, this mount is quite discreet and can support 28-inch screens well. Unlike ROG Swift monitors, this monitor does not take up much desktop space and can be used in a small space.

Whether we are buying a new TV, console monitor, or new gaming monitor for a PC, we all have to understand contrast. Contrast is an important feature, especially when it comes to HDR. If you are new to the display world, it refers to the difference between the brightest and darkest points. The

BenQ EL2780U has a contrast ratio of 3000:1, which is not bad considering the low price. For the most realistic images, you want the range to be as large as possible, but any value over 2000:1 is suitable for gaming.

This monitor supports HDR10, which is the most common standard for this technology and is also included in UHD Bluray. The TN panel has a native 10-bit color depth, but unfortunately it does not have a DCIP3 color gamut.

will have many terms, you may or may not know the meaning. Therefore, we will break down and explain the different specifications of this monitor for you.

resolution refers to the number of pixels on the display. Any monitor always shows the maximum resolution, generally "3840 x 2160". The screen has a resolution of 4K, which means that it is 3840 pixels horizontally and 2160 pixels vertically. The response time of

refers to the time it takes for a single pixel to change color. Response time on the monitor is measured in milliseconds (ms), and typically for a 4K monitor it will be closer to 5 milliseconds than 1 millisecond. Although we have a TN panel here, it usually has a fast response time, like this one of 1 ms. The slow response time on the monitor can cause screen ghosting, which no one wants. The

refresh rate determines the speed at which your monitor physically updates the displayed image; the higher the number, the smoother experience will usually be. BenQ EL2870U only has a refresh rate of 60Hz, so it is not suitable for competitive or high FPS games. In any case, 60Hz is suitable for 4K displays, and you can use the Freesync function to limit the FPS to 60 for a smooth gaming experience.

The refresh rate of this monitor is 60 Hz, which means it updates the image 60 times per second. The input of the

monitor is a bit disappointing, but as the price drops, this is not a real problem. Obviously we like
