Asustek announced that it is preparing to launch an improved gaming desktop called the ROG Strix GA35. We have known about this version since CES, but this is the first time that ASUS has provided full specifications and dedicated pages on its website.
ASUS stated that it "will dominate the gaming world and other areas with the mighty ROG Strix GA35. Dynamic games run fast and smooth." ROG Strix GA35 will be equipped with the highest NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti GPU and the highest 16-core technology. AMD Ryzen 9 3950X CPU.
Other options include AMD Ryzen 7 3700X, AMD Ryzen 7 3800X, and AMD Ryzen 7 3900 X. In terms of GPU, buyers can equip it with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 6GB, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 Super 6GB, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Super 8GB, or NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Super 8GB.
In terms of memory, ROG Strix GA35 can be equipped with up to 64GB of 3200MHz DDR4. In terms of storage, ASUS introduced up to 1TB M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD and 1TB or 2TB hard drives. Case
itself is very beautiful. Asus describes it as a "dynamic windbreaker chassis" that can improve airflow while reducing noise levels. The chassis is divided into separate areas dedicated to core components like CPU, GPU, and PSU. The idea is to minimize thermal interference and keep the ambient temperature low. You can also choose to integrate a liquid cooling system to connect a large number of thick fans and heat sinks that the motherboard likes. The
also has two front-mounted hot-swappable SSD bays and quality-of-life features, such as foldable headphone hooks and handles.
ASUS stated that it should achieve a stable 73 FPS with 4K Ultra in "Shadow of the Tomb Raider" and 188 FPS with 4K Epic in "Overwatch".
All in all, it is a solid structure. Asus has not shared the price range or release window, but we don't think it will be cheap.
