So far, what we have seen is mainly the top ROG Strix B550E gaming motherboard. This E version of the motherboard is designed for gamers who want to use AMD Ryzen processors, who use AM4 sockets with dual or triple expansion cards. This processor socket will use 14 + 2 power stage VRM to produce more reliable performance. The
motherboard will have six fan connectors and a pump and AIO connector, allowing gamers to configure their system exactly the way they want.
Fan speed detection will be automatic and controlled by QFan software control. You can also use various presets to reduce temperature and noise in various activities.
In terms of storage, two solid state drives with a length of 110mm can be inserted into the motherboard, and there are two M.2 storage slots next to it. Both are covered by a radiator to reduce the temperature. The
motherboard connection consists of Intelpower 2.5 Gb Ethernet and WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1. The port includes three USB ports, including two TypeA and one Type C ports. Audio is processed by the SupremeFX S1220A audio chip using the Audio Type C port.
new ASUS motherboards will use 20 general-purpose PCIe 4.0 lanes as channels for 3rd generation AMD Ryzen processors. This new motherboard will also support enhanced PCIe x16 SafeSlots, which is ideal for heavy duty GPUs in SLI or CrossFireX mode. The
PCIe x16 and M.2 slots will provide support for PCIe 4.0. ASUS
