Corsair icue 4000x rgb 4000d airflow pc case
It looks like Asus is about to add another new gaming monitor to its lineup. This monitor appeared on Taobao, a retail store in Taiwan. The
VG279QM monitor will become part of the TUF gaming monitor series and will be equipped with an IPS panel with a refresh rate of 280Hz. With such a high refresh rate, we hope that Asus will be ready to attract competitive gamers.
This new ASUS monitor also supports adaptive synchronization, which means you can use variable refresh rate technology from Nvidia and AMD. The
IPS panel has a size of 27 inches, a resolution of 1920 x 1080, and a fast G2G response time of 1 millisecond.
In terms of display, the monitor has an 8-bit color depth that can cover the sRGB color gamut. The brightness is 400 cd/m², the contrast ratio is 1000:1, and the viewing angle is 178º / 178º. The
display is also expected to use ELMBsync, which is an extremely low motion blur technology. This will allow the use of VRR and blur reduction, which is very suitable for competitive games.
In terms of connectivity, there are 2 HDMI 2.0 ports and a DisplayPort 1.2 available. The monitor stand is also fully adjustable, you can tilt it, rotate it, and change the height to suit your setup.
For our design knowledge, you will be happy to know that this monitor even has Aura RGB lighting effects.
Currently, the Taobao price is 3699 yen, which is equivalent to about 530 US dollars or 400 pounds. However, there is no detailed information on when it will be available elsewhere. If we hear any updates, we will make sure to let you know and update this page.
