Call of duty warzone update
The news of AMD Ryzen 9 4900U APU finally surfaced through UserBenchmark, labeled "AMD Ted3RN".
AMD Ryzen 9 4900U has always been a popular model, initially considered the processor of the new Lenovo Yoga Slim laptop. This model was recently confirmed as part of AMD’s new Ryzen 4000 CPU series.
However, the performance details of the chip were not disclosed in the announcement, and we have always wanted to know what level of performance the chip will be able to achieve.
Although the official recently announced the Ryzen 4000 series, we already know that the 4000U series will have a low TDP of 1025W. These chips will be used in ultra-thin and gaming laptops, rather than the H-series processors used in high-performance laptops. Benchmark
shows that the chip will have 8 cores and 16 threads, and the single-core score is very high. Its base clock is 1.8 GHz and its score is similar to that of the Ryzen 7 4800U, but the average turbo clock speed is 2.35 GHz. There are rumors that it can exceed this and reach 4.3 GHz , which will put it ahead of the Ryzen 7 4800U. The
UserBenchmark results showed that the Ryzen 9 4900U scored 136 points on 1 core and 198 points on 2 cores. When more testing is completed and new drivers are released, we will no doubt see some improved scores.
If we hear any more updates on the long-awaited AMD Ryzen 4000 series laptop CPUs, we will definitely keep you posted. Although they will be available soon, it may take a while for many of us to get the chips for testing due to the delay of COVID19.
