Rumors about AMD's Radeon RX 5500 graphics card have been circulating for some time. The recent announcement from

that detailed descriptions of the RX 5300 XT for HP Desktops has triggered new news that the unreleased RX 5500 graphics card has been added to the GFXBench database.

There are not many short answers. Since this data is available, this will certainly tell us a lot about how it will work. The problem is that these numbers did not actually appear in the benchmark. Earlier this week,

Twitter user Komachi discovered the GFXBench entry. However, there is very little information about actual performance data in the GFXBench entry. The ones included do not provide an accurate or reliable picture of what most of us think of the power of the RX 5500.

Although this may be disappointing news, it at least confirms our suspicion that AMD's next mainstream graphics card will appear with a GPU layer similar to Ryzen.

Since the RX 5700 series already exists with the RX 5700 and RX 5700 XT graphics cards, the RX 5500 series is expected to fill the gap to strengthen this lineup. It seems that AMD can target the lower-end market with this product line, so it will be interesting to see where the RX 5500 stands in terms of specs.

According to TechPowerUp, this may be a lower-end Navi GPU rather than a Polaris-based one. This may mean that it can compete with Nvidia's GeForce GTX 1660, a seemingly wide area of the graphics card market.

What do you think of this next graphics card? Do you think this landmark has any substance? It seems we have to see if more information comes out before we can come to a definitive conclusion.
