The winners of the European Hardware Awards have been officially announced by the European Hardware Association (EHA). AMD has received impressive recognition for its work in the CPU and GPU fields.

EHA has written more than 400,000 articles and is one of the most experienced associations judging some of the best hardware in Europe. More than 100 of the best European journalists have determined the current best-selling hardware on the European continent. Due to the current global crisis, this year's awards were announced online.

However, the European Hardware Awards do not only cover CPUs and GPUs. They look at some of the best laptops, mice, headsets, chairs, and anything you can think of related to technology. For a complete list of winners, be sure to check their official announcement.

As expected, AMD's performance this year is impressive, winning multiple awards, especially in the CPU category.

First of all, AMD won what is probably the most coveted award of this event, the "Best CPU" award. This was awarded to AMD's Ryzen 9 3950X processor, which has 16 cores and 32 threads. The basic clock speed of the Ryzen 9 3950X processor is 3.5 GHz, which can increase the clock speed to 4.7 GHz.

AMD's next award is "Product of the Year 2020". This was awarded to the AMD Ryzen 3000 series of processors. The new technology and higher level of cores provided by this series make it an impressive product series.

There is no doubt that introducing processors based on the 7nm Zen 2 architecture to mainstream consumers without increasing prices will also help ensure AMD's victory.

AMD won another award for its impressive processor. "Best New Technology" awarded to AMD's Ryzen Chiplet CPU Design. This CPU Chiplet design allowed AMD to constantly improve its hardware to compete with and ultimately surpass Intel's CPU products.

This work is not done overnight. Since the first release of the first generation Ryzen processors in 2017, the technology has steadily developed. Since then, AMD has provided premium products in the budget, mainstream, performance, and HEDT categories.

Next is a reward for many of us processors that may run on our own systems. AMD Ryzen 5 3600 processor won the 2020 "Best Game Product" award. The

Ryzen 5 3600 quickly became the CPU of choice for those who wish to build gaming systems without breaking the bank. The impressive performance level, overclocking capability and low cost make it a highly sought after CPU. We are not surprised to see this award.

For those who want to push the processor to the limit, the Ryzen 3 3300X will receive this year's award as the "best overclocking CPU". The base clock speed of this 4-core, 8-thread processor is 3.8 GHz, and the indicated maximum boost clock is up to 4.3 GHz.

It didn't take long for an article to appear, explaining the good which is the overclocking performance of this CPU. Some overclockers even managed to push this chip's quad-core overclocking to 4.5 GHz.

This year, AMD not only earned outstanding processors, but also won the "Best Gaming Laptop" award. ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 is a gaming laptop equipped with Ryzen 4000 mobile series processors. Depending on the specs, this may be Ryzen 7 4800HS or Ryzen 9 4900HS. The

laptop is also equipped with 32GB DDR4 memory, running at 3200MHz, an NVME M.2 with up to 1TB of storage options, and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 GPU with 6GB of GDDR6 VRAM.

Overall, it's been a very impressive year for AMD and there doesn't seem to be any sign of slowing down. What do you think of these awards? Do you think AMD will achieve the same success next year? Let us know in the comments section below.
