Dell has introduced a new gaming monitor that will bring a gaming monitor called Alienware 25 AW2521H to the Alienware series, not to be confused with the AW2521HF of the same name. Dell is currently silent, only mentioning this new monitor by the way in a recent blog post about Alienware Arena.

This is a 24.5-inch IPS panel display with a native full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080, an amazing 360 Hz refresh rate and a GtG response time of 1 millisecond. Things that look like thin bezels mean they need to be stacked well for use in a multi-monitor setup.

As indicated by only the refresh rate, Alienware aims to provide a smooth and buttery gaming experience and fast lighting response with the Alienware 25 AW2521H. Alienware promises "almost no tearing or blurry screens, with consistent colors from all angles." The

monitor operates natively with a response time of 360 Hz, while maintaining support for Nvidia GSync Ultimate thanks to the integrated GSync module. The monitor also has 99% sRGB color coverage. Alienware hasn't revealed the contrast, connectivity, and brightness specs, so we don't have a clear picture yet, but it looks promising. The only real downside to

360 Hz is that users can only use the maximum resolution of 1080p. Again, because it sets its sights on the esports market, 1080p is the full standard because gamers prefer frame rates over details. Except for later this year,

Alienware did not provide much information on the release window, but we believe that Alienware 25 AW2521H is unlikely to arrive before the fourth quarter of 2020. In terms of the price of

, we estimate that its cost will be much higher than the 240Hz AW2521HF model, which retails for about US$500. Dell promised to provide more details soon, although it revealed that the Alienware 25 AW2521H will provide the dark side of the moon color scheme.
