We got a white point very similar to the factory, but the overall black depth is lower. The contrast is almost the same, the average deltaE actually gets worse, and the average becomes 2.54.

Although this monitor is not the most accurate we have tested, it provides good accuracy when calibrated. Out of the box, this monitor is not suitable for people who want to do color-accurate work. However, after calibration, I can easily recommend it for editing within the sRGB spectrum.

Panel Uniformity is a test we run to verify the brightness and color uniformity of the entire screen. During this test, the central square was used as the reference space. Then test all other squares to see how far it differs from the reference value.

In an ideal world, we want all the squares to be green, which means that it does not break the differential threshold, which we can set at the beginning of the test.

panel uniformity of XV340CK is a bit unexpected. As can be seen from the above figure, the color scores returned by most of the recorded quadrants are amber or red, which deviates from the color accuracy (and brightness) of the reference square. Many quadrants exceed the 10% threshold, resulting in noticeable differences in the trained eye. Having said that, there is no problem at all with playing games and watching movies. However, if you watch sports events or see programs with large blocks of color, you may be sensitive to the uniformity of this panel.

Although this monitor is equipped with an IPS panel, the viewing angle is not as good as you think. Viewing the monitor from an angle of more than 2530 degrees shows a significant color shift and a significant decrease in overall brightness, which makes the monitor very unsuitable for multi-person use.

Playing games on this monitor really surprised me, mainly due to other 34-inch monitors that I have tested in the past. screen artifacts such as ghosting and smearing are severely affected. But this is not so obvious when playing on XV340CK. I loaded up some of my favorite shooting games and the game experience is very nice, although it is not optimized for these types of games. Overall gameplay is surprisingly smooth, with only a small amount of overshoot in fast-moving footage. I tried various Over Drive settings and found that although "Extreme" was showing some signs of overshoot, it wasn't as bad as I expected. Only very few traces of dust can be seen, and when dark objects form a strong contrast against a light background, some signs of halo will be found.

I played some competitive games on the monitor. While this is an immersive experience, it doesn't match the high-speed esports monitors you'll find on the market today. In other words, we record a low input lag of 4 milliseconds, which means that no physical delay is shown between the input of a command and the operation on the screen. When playing various games, the response time of this monitor seems to be quite good, and there is almost no ghosting in the whole process. When playing CS: GO, I did notice some vague feelings, but nothing was particularly noticeable. For casual gamers, this monitor is more than enough for competitive gaming. As you will see on the website, the 1ms rating is done with VRB enabled. That is, without it, you will experience a response time close to 4 milliseconds (GTG). Players of single player games don't have to worry too much about this, because the degree of ambiguity experienced in these types of games is minimal. However, in faster games such as COD and CS: GO, competitive gamers may find this annoying. Also, if you decide to enable the VRB setting, remember that the brightness will be greatly affected. Since this function makes the backlight flicker, the brightness is usually reduced in the process. You must also disable FreeSync to enable this feature. If you cannot maintain a stable frame rate that matches the blinking rate of the backlight, this will increase the chance of screen cracking.

Playing single player games on this monitor is very enjoyable. Color and image quality are the most prominent factors.
