Asus portable 240hz monitor
If you want to update your laptop configuration, ASUS has prepared an exciting new announcement for you.
portable displays have been around for a while, but they have really become popular recently. However, until now, many portable displays have not fully considered the needs of gamers.
ASUS is trying to bridge this market gap with its new ROG Strix XG17AHPE. This is an impressive 17.3-inch portable display with a refresh rate of 240Hz.
ASUS XG17 was first launched at Computex last year, but we haven't had much news about this monitor since then. However, ASUS recently released a product page and specification list.
Screen size: 17.3 inches
Resolution: 1920 x 1080p
Refresh rate: 240 Hz
Response time: 3ms
Panel type: IPS
Color saturation: 100% sRGB
Brightness: 404, 4041W Speaker: 4041W stereo x2
built-in battery type: 3700 Ah
Battery life: 3.5 hours at 240 Hz
. Asus seems to have adopted some of the basic specifications of the best gaming monitors on the market and is trying to pack them into one package. smaller and more convenient.
In terms of connectivity, the display has a micro HDMI 2.0 port, USB TypeC and 3.5mm audio jack. Interestingly, the lack of DisplayPort input can be a problem for people who want to use it in a new laptop setup.
MSI is also committed to developing portable displays for gamers, so ASUS is not without its competitors. If MSI and ASUS are successful in this niche, this may mean that other manufacturers are starting to stand up and take notice, as more gaming monitors are released to further expand customer options. If the market is profitable enough, we will eventually see Samsung or Gigabyte models.
Unfortunately the only information we have now comes from the product page listing the specifications. We are not sure how much it will cost or when it will be released. However, given ASUS's new product page, we expect it to be available soon.
Once we have more information about when it will be available, we will notify you in time. Have you been looking for a portable gaming monitor to complete your gaming laptop setup?
