Arkane lyon reveals stylish new action game deathloop
Arkane Lyon, the studio responsible for the fun of games such as "Dishonored" and "BioShock 2", took the stage during the Bethesda conference at E3 and developed a new game called Deathloop. Arkane released a luxurious trailer for the occasion in the chic style of the mill.
From what we can decipher, Deathloop has two well-trained assassins fighting each other in an endless loop. This is a bloody repetitive Earth Day that resets every time one of them dies. The two protagonists each want different results; Colt vowed to break and end this cycle, while Juliana tries to protect it and keep it intact. The reasons behind these different goals are still shrouded in mystery. The
plot takes place on the rebellious Blackreef Island, a paradise that was once full of rugged cliffs, wind-ravaged grasslands, concrete sound mirrors, and the seemingly stylized urban area in We Happy Fifth. The spectacular circular structure dominates the landscape and seems to be attracting energy. It is speculated that the monument plays a vital role in the cycle of time. Colt sees Blackreef as a prison, and Julianna sees him as pure freedom.
As for the gameplay, we know that Deathloop is a first-person shooter with Arkane DNA. Players can expect "an immersive gaming experience that allows them to handle various situations in any way they want."
Most of the action centers on the battle between two assassins and other targets scattered around Blackreef. As we saw in the trailer, both characters have been killed multiple times in a row due to melee attacks, weapons, and telemove capabilities. Repeat deaths are expected and will form the central part of the game cycle, hence the name Death Cycle. The
trailer is Arkane's first mention of Deathloop, so it lacks details in terms of platform and release date. As for the actual game screen, we think there is still a long way to go at this point, unfortunately.
If Arkane can match the qualities of the extraordinary humiliator, we will be feasted.
