Amd ryzen threadripper overclock world record

The highly publicized and anticipated AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3990X has broken the world record just 24 hours after its launch. The massive 64-core

processor is the latest version of AMD's third-generation Threadripper series.

According to Tom's Hardware, Ryzen Threadripper 3990X has successfully overclocked its 64 cores to an impressive 5.5 GHz clock speed.

TSAIK, Allen “Splave” Golibersuch and safedisk are among those who have tried to push Threadripper 3990X to the limit.

TSAIK managed to overclock all processor cores to 5,548.71 MHz. As part of the experiment, Threadripper 3990X was paired with MSI Creator TRX40 motherboard and DDR4 RAM, clocked at 1,866 MHz. Experiment

Splave overclocked 3990X and ASRock TRX40 Tai Chi motherboards at 5475.43MHz, 5375MHz and 5305.88MHz, each test.

Another experiment comes from a secure disk, which now has the highest score in wPrime 1024m and Cinebench R15. The Safedisk test set the 3990X clock frequency at 5.125 MHz and 5.225 MHz in the second benchmark test.

This all happened a few days after the 3990X benchmark test showed that it performed better than Intel's Xeon Platinum 8280 processor. The interesting thing is how much more expensive Intel products are, which are currently priced at $ 10,009. On the other hand, AMD's Threadripper 3990X is currently priced at $ 3,999, but its performance is better than Intel's products.

But this still does not mean that it is cheap. This is a suitable processor for serious PC enthusiasts with money to invest. For those who don't, we can only marvel at AMD's current high-level achievements.
