Amd ryzen 9 5900x rumored to be up to 5ghz with 12 cores and 24 threads
We're just over a week away from the AMD Zen 3 5900X launch, and the specs were just leaked via Tech Tuber / PC Welt in Germany.
If the results of this leak are accurate, it appears that AMD is preparing to provide chips with the highest number of cores and the fastest clock speeds. The
spec shows that we can see 12 cores, 24 threads, and a 5 GHz boost clock in Zen 3 5900X, making it the fastest chip in a period of time. The
clock rate has always been an area that AMD has worked hard on, and it likely has a potential + 400MHz increase in the Zen 2 clock rate increase.
This should mean that when we get some clocks very impressive, we personally tested outside of AMD lab conditions.
AMD's confirmed new architecture indicates that more revenue can be made from the card, but now, as we get closer to revealing more details, this latest leak is an exciting thing. Although Intel's 10th Gen CPU slightly solves the imbalance issue, they will eagerly await the opposition's first benchmark test to understand exactly where the battle is heading.
With AMD's Navi GPU also released in late October, people will turn a lot of attention to the upcoming hardware war.
