Age of empires iv trailer
As expected, Xbox Game Studios and Relic Entertainment announced the first trailer for the upcoming real-time strategy game "Age of Empires IV" on the Inside Xbox XO19 broadcast last night.
Age of Empires IV was first announced in the summer of 2017, but in the next two years, we heard very little news, until today it was officially announced. The main content of the
trailer is that the game is set in the Middle Ages. The theory covers a cycle of cross ages from a futuristic setting to a civilization-like series, but Relic decided to settle in a familiar area, which should satisfy most fans. Trailer
shows the siege of a fortress city surrounded by walls and the castle sits on a hill. A large group of invading troops appeared on the horizon, and then rushed into the city before full-scale fighting broke out.
Players who have played Age of Empires II (the redesigned final version was released yesterday) will notice familiar weapons such as cannons, siege towers, infantry units, archers, and cavalry. The
soundtrack is also a remake of the classic Age of Empires II theme, which shows that the classic RTS inspired most of what Relic Entertainment tried to accomplish in the fourth work in the franchise over two decades.
We also caught a glimpse of the Mongols and the British; the first two factions confirmed their presence in Age of Empires IV.
The artistic style is a bit different for franchising. It has an almost cartoonish aesthetic, and there will always be differences in the community of the times. Xbox Game Studios stated that we are looking at pre-alpha footage, so it is likely that it will change long before the full release. Unfortunately, we still don’t know when Age of Empires IV will be released.
Although it is too early to make assumptions, based on what we have seen so far, "Age of Empires IV" looks quite promising.
