For fans of the hardcore empire era, waiting for the official release date is still continuing. This shows that the game is still a long way from the end. The fact that the ad trailer only uses the concept art of the old game gives the impression that development is still in the early stages.

Due to the extremely vague trailer released after Gamescom 2017, the gameplay of Age of Empires 4 has caused a lot of speculation. The Age of Empires game prior to

focused on the single period in history. Take Age of Empires II as an example: Take Age of Kings as an example. This makes the Middle Ages his preferred period. However, the Age of Empires 4 trailer seems to suggest a journey through time and space, where many different civilizations reappear. We are not sure if it will be two armies from different periods fighting each other or a journey in a single timeline style. I think only time will prove it.

Some good news about the game comes from Phil Spencer, executive vice president of Microsoft Games, who said that "the game is still progressing and more news will be announced in 2019." We haven't officially heard any news, but it's been half a year, so stay tuned!

I know people's frustration may be a bit tired now, but don't worry, the wait for news of Age of Empires 4 is almost over. We will release new details about the game at the end of the year, and I think the news will also be accompanied by a long trailer! On the bright side, we at least have a remastered version of the old-school favorite that we can look forward to in a few months.

The graphical improvements in Age of Empires will definitely give us a preliminary understanding of the content of Age of Empires 4. It might just be the new style of 4K graphics, but it's still something!
